To bring the new technological platform to life, Metro de Madrid has been making progress in the development of the "Virtual Museum," using new technologies for the digital recovery of the company's valuable legacy. After thorough historiographical research, work has been done on the virtual restitution of reality that has already disappeared, been transformed, or even non-existent, through high-impact digital recreation techniques. This effort not only preserves the heritage in its original form but also creates immersive experiences that transport visitors to the past, serving as a new vehicle for spreading the history of the metro and the environment in which it developed.

Dispersed Museum
The new website we are now presenting joins the physical experiences offered by Metro de Madrid at its five visitable spaces, forming the company's "dispersed museum": the historic Chamberí station frozen in time; the Pacífico Engine House, an old electrical substation of the metro; the first lobby of Pacífico station; the exhibition of restored classic trains made available to the public; and the Los Caños del Peral museum, with archaeological remains of Madrid's water channels.
