Spain Designed for Feeling is an initiative of the Leading Brands of Spain Forum that proposes a new way of getting to know Spain: through unique experiences created by some of the country's most outstanding brands.
The project invites travelers to immerse themselves in the essence of Spain and connect with its most authentic values: passion, creativity, quality, innovation and, above all, authenticity. In collaboration with 45 leading brands from various sectors, SDF offers more than 130 experiences ranging from gastronomy to fashion, all designed to experience the country in an intense, close and memorable way.
Unlike conventional tourism, Spain Designed for Feeling was created with the purpose of going beyond the emblematic destinations, offering visitors a deeper and more personal look. The experiences are divided into two types: exclusive, aimed at those who are looking for tailor-made and highly personalized proposals; and genuine, designed so that the general public can easily access authentic and representative activities of the Spanish culture.
The experiences are organized into six thematic categories - Gastronomy, Sport, Well-being, Wineries, Lifestyle and Heritage - that allow you to discover the country from different angles, always in connection with its traditions, creativity and way of life.
Sport
In the Sport category, travelers have the opportunity to delve into the history of Real Madrid, one of the country's most emblematic clubs, through a guided tour of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. This experience allows not only to contemplate an exclusive collection of historical objects and relive the club's most glorious moments, but also to interact with its great idols through digital simulations, tour the facilities and enjoy privileged views of the mythical pitch.
Heritage
At Heritage, tradition and craftsmanship come to life. Just fifteen minutes from Valencia, the Lladró Museum in Tavernes allows visitors to witness firsthand how delicate porcelain pieces are born in a meticulous and completely handmade process. Travelers are not only spectators, but actively participate in a porcelain decoration workshop, becoming artists for a day and making their own piece. Another unforgettable experience is traveling on one of Renfe's luxury trains, which offers routes through Andalusia, the Basque Country or Galicia. On board, the traveler relives the golden age of the great railroad journeys, enjoying every detail, from the furniture to the gastronomy that transports you to that era.
Well-being
The Well-being category is designed for those looking to relax and take care of their body and mind. At Barceló's Royal Hideaway Sancti Petri, travelers are immersed in a first-class spa where they can enjoy the Tui Na massage, from traditional Chinese medicine, which is a wellness ritual that restores energy and psycho-physical balance, relieving tension and revitalizing the spirit. For its part, Vichy Catalán invites tourists to experience the benefits of natural carbonated mineral water while touring the facilities of the historic spa and bottling plant. It is an experience that combines health, tradition and knowledge, allowing visitors to take care of themselves while learning about the secrets of this emblematic brand.
Lifestyle
For lovers of design, fashion and Spanish perfumery, the Lifestyle section is the ideal category. Roberto Verino offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the heart of the brand, learn about its collections, its history, its philosophy, and enjoy a fully personalized shopping experience with image consultants. In the case of Tous, travelers can enter the fascinating world of jewelry by participating in a workshop where they will design their own piece, creating a jewel that will remain as a souvenir of the experience.
Wineries
In the Wineries area, the traveler is invited to discover the secrets of Spanish wine. For example, the Emina Seasonal Tasks experience allows visitors to stroll through its ampelographic garden, discovering national and international grape varieties, learn about the winemaking processes in each season of the year, and culminate with an exquisite tasting of three of the winery's best wines, stimulating the palate and promoting knowledge of the different nuances of wine. Montecillo offers an outdoor experience that combines oenology and gastronomy in a picnic led by a Riojan chef, who combines the winery's most renowned wines with fresh seasonal products. An encounter with nature and flavor that reflects the authenticity, versatility and character of this historic winery.
Gastronomy
Finally, the Gastronomy category encompasses one of the most powerful expressions of the Spanish soul. At the Arrozante restaurant, located at the Barceló Conil Playa hotel, travelers can learn how to prepare an authentic paella, participating in a master class where they will discover the secrets of rice and become familiar with a recipe that they can replicate at home, taking with them not only flavors, but memories of Spanish cuisine. At the Parador de Chinchón, the Cocido de Taba day allows diners to savor a local version of the traditional cocido madrileño, served in earthenware dishes and offering an authentic culinary experience.
Spain Designed for Feeling is an invitation to live unique experiences, carefully designed in conjunction with Spain's leading brands, which seeks to connect the traveler with the deepest values of the country's culture. It is a way to discover Spain not only with the eyes, but with all the senses.
