OUR Gastronomy
MEGA
Tour of A Coruña with a visit to MEGA, tasting and pairing experience with 5 of our beers and 5 Galician cheeses.

Guided by Suso Martínez: official tour guide, actor and historian, as well as collaborator in press, radio and TV; and winner of the Pérez Lugín 2021 Journalism Award, granted by the Press Association of A Coruña, we will tour the historic city of A Coruña discovering the events that revolved around 1906, the iconic year of the founding of the Estrella Galicia Company (Hijos de Rivera SAU). Suso will tell you about the society, the people, the stories and the physiognomy of the Galician capital that was entering the long and feverish 20th century with the ambition of becoming the great metropolis of northwestern Spain. The tour will begin at Plaza de María Pita at 12:00 noon, walking through the streets and squares of the Upper City, such as Rúa de Santiago, Tabernas, Constitución, Azcárraga and Príncipe, to the Garden of San Carlos
In the afternoon, explore the history of beer on a guided tour of MEGA, Mundo Estrella Galicia, a working brewery and Spain’s first beer museum. Stroll through exhibits in 8 different sections to learn about production processes and beer culture around the world. Discover the origins of beer, the different beer styles, the raw materials used and the brewing processes of Estrella beers. See the boiler room and access the brewery’s viewing platform to see the packaging area. Learn about beer labels and the evolution of advertising and sponsorships over the years.

MEGA- Estrella Galicia World
C/ José María Rivera Corral, 6 15011 A Coruña, A Coruña (La Coruña)

MEGA - Mundo Estrella Galicia is a museum and exhibition space with an experiential and informative character that not only addresses content related to the company and its history, but also brings visitors closer to the world of beer in general, organizing events that relate beer to different disciplines. It offers a personalized experience to the user, allowing them to interact with different elements and obtain information based on their own interests.

The museum was born with the intention of encapsulating the former Cooking Hall, which was in operation from 1972 to 2012.

The exhibition tour is distributed over 3 floors, with a total of 8 sectors. The tour follows the same order as the brewing process: Origins, Raw Materials, Brewing, Packaging, Beers and Distribution, Advertising and Sponsorship, Tasting and Store.

Feelings to live and touch in a singular journey through how much we are.
